Her legal education was completed with distinction, obtaining an LLB (Hons) from the University of Wolverhampton in the UK. She furthered her legal studies at the Sri Lanka Law College and was called to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka in 2004. Dharshika continues to contribute to the legal profession as a member of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka.
